I live a quiet life, raising my children and caring for Gold Coast families. I home educated my children from start to finish, I try to be as close to nature as possible and live a healthy, happy uncomplicated life.
I love the outdoors, camping, star gazing, camp fires, swimming in the ocean and living free. I love all elements of design, sew, craft, invent, and make all manner of potions. I'm a problem solver through and through. Under the Birch Tree gets quite busy so these all keep me balanced.
I've traveled around the world, learnt way more than I ever thought possible and have experienced several of my bucket list items. Many more to come and much more to know, I'm also a crazy research nut.
I believe birth is important, in both the mother and her child's lives. I think it matters that you inform yourself about options and choices when you prepare to birth and beyond, into parenting.
I believe you should always stand up and fight for what is right for you, in birth and in life and especially for your children. I will stand up for anyone who needs support!
I'm a support person. I'm sadly also very experienced with loss, the facts are that not all life gets the time we would like and some don't have any time at all, I'm a loving professional support to help you with memories of your little love to keep for ever, a treasure that no one else can give.
I believe parenting is the most important thing you will ever do.
Loving, trusting relationships, supported and nourished with positive experiences and environments from birth throughout childhood, are essential in the quality of life and virtues you have as an adult. Giving us all more artists, ethical politicians, greater broader and more individual educations, better ideas, greener happier healthier futures for all. I have two incredible adult children that I am so proud of, truly amazing humans and one that is moving through the stages of teenage-hood with grace. I am proud of my parenting and of them, they are my world.
I also think a lot and have far too many ideas for one brain!

Placenta Services Australia was founded by the very few women around the country that founded Placenta Encapsulation here in Australia, I was the FIRST ever Australian PE business, I was alone working it all out for a year or two and then we started to grow and grow and we are still growing! It was a humble working group on facebook in the beginning and evolved into Australia's first regulatory and support incorporation.
I became Chairperson in 2019 after many years as a founding and board member of Placenta Services Australia Inc, my amazing team and I lead Australia's Placenta Practitioners in regulation and verification to attain safety for all women who wish to use these services. We come from across the country with an amazing array of experience, wisdom and knowledge. Collectively we covered many specialty areas that nurture and support women and their families throughout pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period. Together, with our members, we maintained the highest standards and brought about continuous positive change in the Australian Placenta Encapsulation industry. Helping families to safely use their own placenta to achieve a happy, healthy, natural postpartum by finding safe practitioners in an unregulated industry, anywhere in Australia.

As time has moved us into new grounds, we have closed Placenta Services Australia Ltd for now. So what next? I have a little something up my sleeve that will benefit us all greatly. The wings are now drying and we are ready to fly!
