Placental Encapsulation
Placentophagy is the consumption of the placenta.
As a Gold Coast Doula I had been approached several times about Placental Encapsulation and decided to study and offer it as an additional service. I use guide lines from the Australian Doula College and have encapsulated my client’s placentas. I am now offering the service (the traditional Chinese medicine method) as an Under the Birch Tree Service.

~Umbilical cord keepsake (twisted into a heart shape and dryed) $20
A great memento of the birth.
~Placenta Print (a print of your placenta onto quality paper) $20
Usually looks like a tree shape and is great in the baby book or framed on the wall. If you don’t like the blood print you can scan it and photo shop it with colour for a different look.
~Placental Essence (essentially a homeopathic remedy tonic.) $50
A small piece of placenta is used to make the tonic and is used in times of stress and is also a blood builder.
Contract
If you decide to go ahead and have me Encapsulate your placenta, I will require full payment by pick up. I am happy to come up with a payment plan to suit you. You will be required to sign a contract to say that you are enlisting me to do a service for you, and that you have done your own research on the subject and take full responsibility for your actions with your Placenta Pills. I have not given you any promises that the pills will do as you intend them to and I take no responsibility for what you do with them after I deliver them. All care is taken to give you a high quality service and take particular care of my feelings when dealing with your placenta, as I feel energy plays a role in the process. I hold thoughts of your family and their happy healthy future in my mind and heart.
